This is my abridged version of the first movement. I have gone for a lighter texture than the original, cutting down slightly on some of the more virtuosic elements in the full orchestral version. Whilst still aimed at the more advanced pianist the combination of piano and orchestral parts is quite manageable, and provides a musically balanced performing version of the work.
